so, just got over swine flu. took me a full...4 days? and i was pretty much in a coma for two. a temperature of 103 degrees! but my super-important classes are later on in the week so i made it to those in time. but ANYWAYZ...

i was bragging in my speech class the other day about SURVIVING THE PLAGUE and i got in a huuuge argument with this chick if i REALLY had the plague or not. apparently, there are *NO* confirmed cases in the state, so it's all just fictional. so apparently there's some other scary-ass disease that KNOCKS YOU OUT for a week besides swine flu.

good god girl, just because your mom is a nurse doesn't mean you have the right to diagnose us survivors! let me bask in the survivor's glory! cower a little in the fact i might still be contagious!

i, obviously, recovered from it in an exponetially short amount of time, but i'm the kind of person that will still show up for school unless i literally vomited right as i woke up. so missing 4 days of school is a big deal....and i probably did have it longer than that but it just wasn't enough to knock me out!

so anyways, my point is...hm.

it's realy not that bad. just a condensed form of mono with coughing. yup.
